Water’s Edge Day at the Maritime Museum

Enjoy family shoreline activities, with live music at the Maritime Museum for FREE on Saturday, October 3rd.

Did you know that Vancouver has 67 kilometres of waterfront?

With so much shoreline in our immediate proximity, it’s hard not to take it for granted. But it’s our waterfront that makes this city a great place to live, work and play. As part of an ongoing effort to create a new vision for Vancouver’s waterfront, non-profit Georgia Strait Alliance is celebrating this special part of our city in the 2nd Annual Water’s Edge Day event!

Drop by Vanier park and the Vancouver Maritime Museum, in Kitsilano, on Saturday, October 3 for an all-ages, indoor and outdoor activity fun-day, running from 10am-5pm. All indoor and outdoor activities are free. There will be First Nations canoe tours, kayaking, bird walking tours, touch tanks from the Vancouver Aquarium, solar catamaran rides, arts & crafts, children’s entertainers, yoga classes, live music and free admission to the Vancouver Maritime Museum. There will also be food trucks and free coffee.

Bring your family and friends; see you there!
